| Giralda guitars have their studio and workshop in Madrid. The company is owned by Emilia Durrand, a French business woman. Guitarras Giralda has been built on the experience of two generations of luthiers. The result, is a range of high quality, handmade guitars. Their luthiers carefully select the woods using mainly: Canadian Cedar; Honduras Cedar; American Walnut; Rosewood; Ebony and German Spruce. The manufacturing of the guitar is realised according to all the traditional processes; they test the quality to ensure it meets their high standard of workmanship. Once the guitar is finished, and before the varnish and polish process, the instrument is stocked for several days, to assure top quality of varnish. When the guitar is finished, they proceed to test the instruments to verify it is well tuned and the quality of the sonority. Obviously, Guitarras Giralda is the fruit of passion. |
